Binning Memorial Wood is a peaceful and idyllic green burial site in the historic and much loved Binning Wood in East Lothian.

The cathedral-like canopy created by the tall stems and arching crowns of the magnificent beech trees offers the bereaved an incredibly tranquil place to reflect and remember.

To lay Mick to rest in such a peaceful setting is just wonderful.

Everything was done superbly and we are so pleased we have chosen Binning. We know we will return time and time again, as will many friends and relatives for walks and quiet reflection in a beautiful setting. It will be our special place for years to come, for poignant memories through the changing seasons.

I have to thank you on behalf of my family for the wonderful setting and the opportunity to say goodbye in such a memorable way. I walked away from dad's funeral feeling uplifted and positive and I know that's echoed by so many who attended.

The day was perfect and the wood is such a lovely setting, if my mother could have chosen it herself she would have. My family and friends were all very impressed and said it was the best funeral they had every attended. I very much appreciated the sensitive way that we were dealt with on the day of the funeral by everyone concerned.

Blair’s burial touched many who were there to walk with him on his final journey on this earth and it has made them rethink about death and the way that they would like to be buried and remembered.
